Why KiNBY exists

It started the day I became a caregiver.

KiNBY didn't start as a company. It started more than two decades ago, the day I became a caregiver — and discovered that this life is about so much more than appointments and medications. It's hundreds of small details every single day, and every one of them matters.

Over the years, with the nurses and caregivers on our team, I built tools to keep it all straight: a better chart, a medication tracker, a way to spot the patterns early, a handbook for every new nurse. Eventually I realized that every family's story is different, but the challenges are remarkably the same.

How billing works, plainly. Your paid month always finishes — nothing stops mid-month. After that there is a grace period where your caregivers keep full access. If the subscription still isn’t renewed, the account becomes a historical record: nothing new can be entered, but everything already entered stays readable, printable and exportable. Nothing is ever deleted. Payment reminders go to the parent/SDM only — never to caregivers.
